Falmouth is a bustling maritime town with a variety of independent shops and galleries 

From the house if you turn right onto Arwenack Avenue and then left onto Avenue Road you will find yourself at a mini-roundabout with Events Square in front of you. 

Here you will find the National Maritime Museum, along with a variety of bars and restaurants.

Continue left into Market Street where you will find a mixture of independent shops, high street names and some wonderful galleries.

At The Prince of Wales Pier you will see the Fal River Information Centre, this is an excellent resource with the very latest information on the area.  The staff are very friendly and can help you answer any question from local attractions, boat times, and even the weather!  Do pop in and have a look around.

If you carry on up the hill, you will find yourself in Falmouth old town with its quirky shops and cafes.

Turn right at Events Square and you will see signs for the beaches.
